Meet Our Adoptables
PLEASE NOTE: Many of our adoptables NEVER make it to the website because they are sent to their forever homes to applicants already approved and waiting. Being a rescue we get dogs in all the time.
Because of this process it is advisable to complete an application now to get the process started. This includes vet checks and home checks. When a dog comes in, our approved applicants are given the first opportunity to decide if they might be a good fit. If there is no interest, which happens as not everyone wants the same type of dogs nor does the dog meet their needs; they will be then be posted on our site and on our Facebook page.

Our Goldens Need Your Help!
PGR wants to help as many Goldens and Golden Mixes in need as possible and one way to ensure we can is by you becoming a supporter through membership or your donations. Every dollar goes ‘to the dogs’ to meet their needs from nose to tail. Costs are high and it is because of people like you and our Service Supporters (veterinarians, boarding facilities and others) who offer their services at a reduced rate, we are able to continue to help our Goldens. If you would like to get a better idea of costs that PGR faces for just one dog.
