Thank you for choosing Poetic Golden Retriever Rescue for your rescued Golden. We try very hard to ensure our rescued Goldens and Golden Mixes are in foster homes prior to adoption so we can learn more about their temperament, their habits, their likes, and dislikes. We make every effort to place them in their forever home that is appropriate for their needs.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering one of our rescues please fill out the PGR Adoption Application online.
Once we receive the application an applications coordinator will be in touch with you either by phone or email (please make sure both are correct!). Please allow up to 2-3 days for the coordinator to contact you as we are all volunteers with full-time jobs. Rescue is our hobby because we love the dogs!
Once you adopt a dog, we have a 7-day return policy. To return the dog you must contact your applications coordinator. Upon adoption, you will be asked to sign a contract. About 2-3 months after adoption, one of our volunteers will contact you to make sure everything is going well.
We do encourage you to stay in contact with us and let us know how your new furry friend is doing! We love pictures and happy endings!
